A motorcycle rider bent on trying to support his estranged family, reveals a corrupt police force, and the conscious of a rookie cop, only to lead us to a void ending of wow did this end here? To describe this film I would say, it’s “Twisting into a warm darkness, where pain is the road in which we discover ourselves and breathe the most.” Looking into this film, the characters played of a dark mysterious Ryan Gosling, a mending Eva Mendes, a sinister Ray Liotta, and a compromising Bradley Cooper, have fused together to create a story of troubled life, where everything that your wishing does not happen, will. The Place Beyond The Pines is the most unique movie, void of an ending, and a reminder that the road in life we sometimes are fated to is often guided by pain more then inspiration. This is how we see ourselves. No spoilers here, go see this film for its brilliant storyline.
